Artists and illustrators I've been really in to recently. I think I love them so much because of the childlike qualities within their work and the use of pattern and colour. Their styles are just very fun and playful- that's definitely the direction I want to take. The two pieces from Takahasi are from her collection of 'daily doodles' which she also uploads to instagram @mogutakahashi and they always make me smile. I found Beineke's work from following the Saatchi Art FB page, you can purchase and see more of his work here. Abstract and wonderful/ v. pleasing to the eyes. John Booth is a fashion illustrator (and CSM tutor) who creates these awesome quirky people and I love stalking his instagram (@john_booth) for inspiration.

(A short post for the artists I don't want to forget!)

  1. You're right- the colors and patterns are super awesome in all of these illustrations! :) I love the styles especially the 1st and 2nd ones. There's just way too many talented and creative people in this world (but still, not enough...)
