Last Tuesday London Graphic Centre hosted a blogger event at their flagship store in Covent Garden so me and Jodie travelled down from Leeds and decided to stay for the night. It was very much worth it as I was able to meet so many #cbloggers. Finally - an event just for the creative bloggers!

Obviously since I don't live very close to London coming here was a real treat because the store is huge and full of everything arty you could think of; sadly we don't have anything like this in Leeds which can make shopping for art supplies pretty difficult and annoying. When we arrived we were given one of their new tote bags (designed by Alex Widdowson, inspired by René Magritte) full of lots of lovely goodies and were left to mingle for a while with the staff and other bloggers.
After a presentation (exciting new things to come for halloween and christmas!) and eating the food they had prepared we were back downstairs for a few mini workshops they had set up: screen printing, stamping, colouring in and trying out some new Winsor and Newton pens which are soon to be released (so sadly I can't talk about them too much.)
|Supplies! - Washi tape, fineliners, pencil crayons and more|
If you're a student then good news! - #LGCstudentday is on the 6th October where you can grab yourself one of these bags (full of stuff) and a 15% discount. I really love the fact that they proudly support creative students from beginning to graduation; sometimes people think art courses are insignificant and not hard work but they very much are and in my experience I have spent A LOT of money on course supplies so far. That extra help is always appreciated!
Thank you so much to all the lovely staff for throwing an awesome event, it was nice to chat with everyone and we had a great time at the pub afterwards. (More events like this please!)
