Little room tour

Throws and pillows - Primark | I just had to buy a tsum tsum too

Happy September - hasn't this year gone crazy fast? I've finally fully moved in to my student house in Leeds and my bedroom is the best bedroom I have ever owned. In halls the horrid red curtains ruined everything, you couldn't really stick stuff on the walls and it was way too big for me (that sounds like it was great but having a large room can be a problem when you've had the box room all your life) so this is perfect. I said I would share a few pics when it was finished so here it is!

I love being in here because it feels so me. I love how light it is, I love how it's not too big and not too small. I'm overwhelmed with colour and arty things so it's a great, inspiring place to sit and work; I love having stuff to look at whilst I draw and paint! My bed is extremely cosy too but that was all thanks to the throw and unnecessary amount of pillows I added into the mix.

I've always wanted my own plant so I visited the market and picked this one up. I hope I don't kill it too soon because it's a lovely addition to my room. I also added a little bit of a 'washing line' to hang up pieces I need to work with, like these painted papers, that way I won't forget about them!

I don't know if i'll be in this house till the end of next year or the end of my course but it's really grown on me and it feels like home. We do get lots of spiders and it does have it faults but what student house doesn't? I'm happy here and I really can't wait to start university again... it's been tooo long!
