Leeds Print Fair: Lotsa' pineapples

Hello! I'll be at Leeds Print Fair on Saturday 7th November sharing a stand with two other surface pattern students. As mentioned before in a previous post I've been busy making new things for the fair and I've decided to share them on my blog. I loved creating them and I think they'd be great as christmas presents or even a lovely little treat for yourself. Anything which doesn't sell at the print fair will be added to my online store anyway!

Pineapple plush

The pineapple plush is a two colour screen print onto calico with hand painted elements which are then stuffed and stitched together by myself. (Of course, this means each one is unique as they're all hand made.) I'll be selling these along with my cat cushions at the fair and there's a very limited amount.

Pineapple tote bags

Tote bags - perfect for throwing in all of your shopping!

I have a selection of tote bags which were screen printed and painted by me too. Again, they're all hand printed so expect differences especially with the placement of colour and imagery; I like to print things playfully and I rarely use registration marks (to line things up) so my designs are created quite organically. Fruit is a big theme in my current project and I loved mixing the pineapple which different marks and brush strokes.

The print fair is on at the Corn Exhange from 10:00 till 17:00 on Saturday 7th November - I hope to see you there!
