Future thoughts with a few fashion things

Car printed bottoms with sassy red shoes

It never really occurred to me how busy my final year of uni would be and even though I do blog for myself I've been a lot more inactive than I'd hoped! The thought of life after uni has actually been bothering me quite a lot lately. Two years ago I was beginning an exciting new adventure which meant moving away from home, meeting my current friends and learning so many new skills and whilst I can't wait to get out into the real world I'm struggling to cope with the uncertainty of it all. It's obviously quite pointless worrying about something I have no real control over so time will tell I suppose!

I've loved making fashion illustrations for my prints as it meant I could finally start drawing again, applique is pretty fun but after burning myself multiple times with the iron a little break was needed. I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before but I used to love fashion illustrating, so much so that I actually considered applying for a degree in it. Sometimes I think how nice it would be to draw pretty clothes all day.

All of the festivity going on in the city centre is making me so excited for Christmas and I cannot wait to step away from my dissertation for a few days and binge on Christmas movies.  Today Jake and I visited a little winter market in Wakefield and it was really nice to pick up a few gifts from independent makers. Hopefully this time next year I will be selling some of my own range of goodies just in time for Christmas!🎄
