Hello! I hope you've had a lovely week. Today I wanted to share issue one of Floss zine, as well as a few other things, which Ellen from Floss Shop kindly sent me a while ago. (I've been so overwhelmed with degree show work I've finally managed to find the time to sit down and put together a post!) I really love buying and reading zines because of the handmade qualities. Knowing somebody has lovingly put together their own little book of pictures and words is something I find so personal and interesting to read through.
Ellen's shop also stocks a variety of (very cute) stationery ✨
I think the sequins had to be my fave
One of the articles from Floss zine -- I think it looks so beautiful printed on sugar paper
Also really loving the faded quality of the print. It just enhances the handmade feeling!
I haven't shared too many photos of the zine inside as I wouldn't want to spoil it for you. It's A6 size with recipes, beautiful pictures and a couple more articles in there too; when you fold it out there's a poster printed on the back which I think makes for a much nicer keepsake. Sometimes I tend to store things away on my bookshelf and forget about the treasures I have, so being able to read it and then put it on my wall is an added bonus I love!
Ellen also sent me a few items from her shop all ~sweetly~ packaged, which I did not expect at all!!! She sells a range of stationery from illustrated compact mirrors to sequins and cute little erasers. The link is here if you'd like a bit of nosey yourself and you can visit her entire website at www.ellenevans.co.uk!
